Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our expanding team. You will start up and operate X-Ray equipment, verify patient info, and perform radiologic procedures with strict safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education not required; minimum high school degree or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active ARRT Certification and Registration.
• Applicable state licensure as required.
• Active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and verify examination details.
• Prepare patient and conduct X-rays per safety protocols.
• Collect patient history and document observations.
• Use radiation protection/shielding materials.
• Report equipment issues to Lead Radiologic Technologist.
• Document radiologic procedures in EMR for billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization from insurers for CT scans.
• Confirm X-Ray in PACS and ensure reports are filed.
• Clarify radiology readings with physician.
• Assist with site stocking and setup.
• Participate in quality control and assurance programs.
• Perform basic medical assisting and triage duties as needed.
