Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care in Illinois is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. You will perform X-ray procedures with a focus on patient care and safety, using EMR and PACS for documentation.

We offer a competitive starting wage of $33.50 per hour, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth while maintaining a stable, non-on-call schedule in a fast-growing urgent care network.

Qualifications

• Mastery of best practice x-ray procedures and protocols.
• Understanding anatomy and physiology for x-ray testing.
• Knowledge of radiology equipment safety hazards.
• Ability to identify equipment issues and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm examination.
• Prepare patients and conduct x-rays following procedures.
• Obtain patient history and observations during exam.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and report malfunctions.
• Complete procedures in EMR and assist with billing.
