Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist for its Radiology department. This full-time role is 40 hours/week with a 7:30a–6:00p schedule in the primary OR, portables, and diagnostic areas. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and document patient histories.

Requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology education, registry eligibility within 1 year, and BLS. You’ll apply patient-care skills and collaborate with radiologists and staff in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history for specific procedures.
• Verifies patient identity and consent where required.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as needed.
• Coordinates with radiologists and physicians.
• Operates equipment and positions patients appropriately.
• Maintains accurate departmental records.
