Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, verify patient identities, prepare contrast media, and collaborate with radiologists. You will ensure accurate documentation and positioning to support high-quality imaging services.

Required is ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology education and registry-eligibility with CPR certification. This role is on-site and per diem, with benefits eligibility when applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• CPR certification required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population served.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
