Job summary

Advocate Health's Oak Ridge location is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures on an as-needed basis. The role requires an ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program, registry eligibility within 12 months of hire, and BLS certification.

You will document patient histories, prepare and administer contrast as required, and coordinate with radiologists.

Qualifications

• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.
• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under Radiologist supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the procedure on requisition.
• Verifies patient identity verbally and with proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and ensures proper positioning for each study.
• Maintains required departmental records.
