Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in a full-time capacity at Navicent Health Medical Center: Baldwin. The role requires ARRT-recognized education, registry eligibility within 1 year, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as assigned.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the procedure on physician requisition.
• Verifies patient identity through verbal confirmation and ID checks.
• Prepares and administers contrast media when required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as needed.
• Operates and positions radiographic equipment per procedure requirements.
• Maintains required records according to department standards.
