Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures across all ages. The role requires independent judgment under the direction of a radiologist, with emphasis on accurate imaging and patient safety.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates with experience, and requires ARRT certification, IL licensure, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in Illinois (IEMA)
• ARRT registration in Radiography
• BLS within 30 days (AHA)
• Education: Radiologic Technology certificate/degree

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately for patients of all ages.
• Exhibit competency in radiographic and specialized procedures.
• Deviate from routines as needed per patient condition or radiologist request.
• Knowledge of invasive procedures and sterile tray setup; schedule procedures accordingly.
• Obtain and document accurate pre- and post-procedure information.
• Follow Joint Commission patient safety goals and maintain radiation protection.
