Ascension is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography to join the CT department at Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, IL. The role involves performing CT scans per radiologist protocols, preparing patients, and ensuring accurate data and imaging quality.

Qualifications

• Active licensure in radiology as listed in the job requirements.
• Minimum high school diploma with 2 years of cumulative experience or an Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform CT scans to diagnose disease and injury following radiologist-established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients, select appropriate technical parameters, and administer contrast/medications within scope and regulations.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity.
• Ensure high-quality image submission to PACS with accurate patient data.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and recommend protocol updates as needed.

Formation

BLS Provider certification

Radiologic Technologist credentialed from IEMA

NMTCB CT Certification or ARRT CT

CNMT Certification or ARRT Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization

Associate's/Technical degree in radiologic technology
