Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• An Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
• IEMA licensure.
• ARRT - Radiography (R) certification required.
• BLS CPR and AED certification from the American Heart Association required.
• 1 year of prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment required.
• Knowledge of current ACR/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment and perform radiographic examinations to provide films and images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Explain radiology procedures to patients, position patients for safe examinations, and help establish patient trust with the clinical team.
