Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Registered by the ARRT and licensed by the state is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for imaging procedures and ensure accurate documentation.
• Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Operate radiology equipment and RIS to complete imaging.
• Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Maintain inventory and equipment, and support department operations.
• Demonstrate patient-centered communication and privacy respect.
