Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiologic Technology program in an AMA approved school.
• ARRT registry eligibility or certification.
• Current license to practice radiology in the state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Operates radiology equipment independently to complete imaging per protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Completes timely quality control procedures per regulatory standards.
• Supports departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
