Qualifications

• ARRT-Registered Radiologic Technologist with active license.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Illinois IEMA Radiologic Technologist license.
• Education: Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology; Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures following guidelines to ensure accurate examinations.
• Acts as resource person to staff for radiographic procedures.
• Optimizes image quality using filters, collimation, markers, and patient identification.
• Maintains patient comfort and radiation protection throughout procedures.
• Maintains equipment knowledge and serves as troubleshooting resource.
• Maintains clean work area and stocks supplies; ensures proper room readiness.
• Performs lab testing as appropriate.
