Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures for patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist.

The role requires ARRT registration, BLS within 30 days, and state licensure. Responsibilities include ensuring image quality, radiation safety, patient comfort, and collaboration with staff; opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Registered in Radiography (R) with ARRT
• BLS within 30 days - ACL
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA)

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately and within guidelines
• Ensures image quality with proper filters, collimation and patient identification
• Maintains radiation protection and patient comfort throughout procedures
• Troubleshoots equipment and assists staff as needed
• Mentors technologists and students; participates in QA/QC programs
