Qualifications

• Advanced training in radiologic technology from an accredited program.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures and obtain clinical history.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors with radiation safety measures.
• Identifies patient and labels images, ensures exam accuracy and processes images.
• Assists and consults with Radiologists.
• Maintains records and documents billing codes; enters data into radiology info system.
• Performs patient positioning and transporting tasks, including lifting as required.
