Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging, including general diagnostic and fluoroscopy, at an assigned facility in Wisconsin. You will position patients, select exposure factors, provide radiation protection, verify patient identity, and ensure accurate image labeling and documentation.

The role requires ARRT registration and a state radiographer license, with BLS.

Qualifications

  • Advanced training beyond high school in Radiologic Technology.
  • Good knowledge of radiation safety, anatomy and radiology equipment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic to advanced radiologic procedures as assigned.
  • Explain procedures and obtain patient history; address questions or concerns.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors; ensure radiation protection.
  • Identify patient and label images; ensure exam accuracy and charge coding.
  • Collaborate with physicians and work independently when needed.
  • Maintain records and enter study information; document billing codes.
  • Support accreditation efforts and act as a resource to staff.
