Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality. You will explain exams, position patients, protect against radiation, label and process images, and collaborate with radiologists while maintaining accurate records and billing data.

Required: Wisconsin radiographer license, ARRT RT registration, and BLS within 6 months; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Advanced training beyond high school.
Wisconsin radiographer license (required after hire).
ARRT RT registration and BLS certification within 6 months.

Responsabilités

Perform radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams.
Explain procedures to patients, obtain clinical history and address questions.
Position patients and select exposure factors with radiation protection.
Identify and label images, verify orders, and ensure exam accuracy.
Assist radiologists and communicate with the team.
Enter patient and study information into the radiology information system and document billing codes.
Handle patient positioning and transport with safe lifting techniques.
Provide age-appropriate patient care and adhere to department policies.
