Job summary

You will collaborate with Radiologists, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure proper billing coding while adhering to safety standards. ARRT licensure and BLS within 6 months are required; no prior experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures and obtain history.
• Positions patients and selects exposure factors with radiation safety.
• Identifies patient, labels images, and ensures exam accuracy.
• Assists and consults with Radiologists.
• Maintains records and enters data into radiology information system; codes procedures for billing.
• Performs patient positioning and lifting/pushing with safe technique.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate patient care per department policies.
