Job summary

The role requires an accredited radiologic technology program, Wisconsin radiography licensure, ARRT RT registration, and BLS certification

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Wisconsin Radiographer license is required.
• ARRT RT registration is required.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Advanced training beyond high school in radiologic technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and obtain clinical history.
• Position patients and select exposure factors with radiation safety measures.
• Identify and label images, ensure exam accuracy, and maintain radiograph quality.
• Assist and consult with radiologists as needed.
• Maintain records, enter data into RIS, and document billing codes for procedures.
• Move and transport patients with proper technique, including lifting requirements.
