Responsibilities

• Perform basic to intermediate radiographic procedures including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain clinical history.
• Position patients, set exposure factors, ensure radiation safety, and protect patients.
• Identify patients, label images, verify orders, and ensure exam accuracy.
• Assist and consult with Radiologists.
• Document billing codes and enter data into the radiology information system.
• Perform patient positioning and transporting duties and handle patients safely.
• Provide age-appropriate care and understand life-span needs per department policies.
