Job summary

UNC Health Care System is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures at the Imaging and Spine Center (Outpatient). The role includes assisting radiologists, preparing contrast and medications, and ensuring safety and accuracy of patient data.

Responsibilities focus on image quality, RIS/PACS documentation, and adherence to protocols while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Position is full-time with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection.
• Understanding of PACS, RIS, and HIS workflows.
• Ability to perform radiographic procedures per protocol.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine radiology procedures and acquire diagnostic data.
• Assist radiologist and prepare/ administer contrast as needed.
• Verify patient identity and ensure safety during exams.
• Document procedures and manage images in RIS/PACS.
