Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months at time of application.
  • ARRT registration or NMTCB CT certification required; registry eligible candidates must provide diploma.
  • Advanced CT certification within one year of employment.
  • Maintains current BLS competency.

Responsibilities

  • Identify patients, verify history, ensure safety and understanding.
  • Perform CT scans, protocol adherence, 3D reconstruction and image quality checks.
  • Administer oral/IV contrast per protocol and monitor eligibility.
  • Transmit images to PACS/EMR with accurate billing info.
  • Precept new employees and students; maintain clean work area.
