Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to join our expanding urgent care network. You will perform X-ray procedures, ensure patient safety, and support efficient patient flow in a fast-paced setting.

Requires ARRT certification, accredited Radiologic Technology program, state licensure, and a valid driver’s license. We offer a competitive hourly wage with sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits coverage.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Active ARRT certification and registration
• Active state licensure (as required)
• Active Driver’s License
• High School diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment
• Identify patient and confirm examination
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and conduct radiographs following safety procedures
• Obtain detailed history and note observations during radiologic examination
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials
• Ensure radiology equipment is functioning and report malfunctions
• Complete Radiologic Procedures in EMR and code for billing
• Obtain pre-authorization from insurers for CT scans
• Confirm X-Ray exam in PACS and ensure report is in chart
• Clarify discrepancies with medical provider
• Assist with cleaning and stocking the site
• Participate in quality control and assurance programs
• Perform basic medical assisting and duties to support patient flow
