Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Beech Grove, Indiana. The role focuses on high-quality patient care and accurate radiologic procedures using EMR and PACS systems.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Active ARRT Certification and Registration.
• Applicable state licensure (as required by state).
• Active Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm the ordered examination.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform x-rays.
• Obtain history and observations during exam.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure equipment functions properly and report malfunctions.
• Document procedures in EMR and notes for billing.
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans.
• Verify X-Ray exam in PACS and update patient chart.
• Clarify discrepancies with the provider.
