Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The role involves startup/shutdown of X-Ray equipment, confirming patient details, and performing exams at multiple locations within the assigned region, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, and state licensure, with strong customer service and EMR skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or near graduation.
• Active ARRT Certification and Registration.
• State licensure as required by state and active driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down of all X-Ray equipment.
• Identify patient and confirm order before exam.
• Travel to designated locations within the region to perform X-Ray exams.
• Communicate with teams at locations and monitor workflow.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform X-Rays safely.
• Record history and observations from examinations.
• Use radiation protection and shielding materials.
• Ensure equipment functions properly and report malfunctions.
• Document radiologic procedures in EMR and bill accordingly.
• Obtain pre-authorizations for CT scans.
• Verify exam in PACS and place reports in patient chart.
• Clarify discrepancies with medical provider.
• Manage company fleet vehicle duties as needed.
• Participate in quality control and assurance programs.
