Job summary

Resolute Health Hospital in Texas is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform complex diagnostic MRI procedures as ordered by a licensed physician, producing high-quality images while delivering compassionate patient care.

The role requires minimum 6 months in MRI, ARRT in MRI or registry eligibility, BLS certification, and either a graduate of an MRI program or an advanced degree in Allied Health; a sign-on bonus is available and the organization offers a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited MRI program.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Allied Health or related field.
• Minimum experience: 6 months in MRI with supervised clinical practice.
• Preferred experience: 2–5 years in MRI.
• Licensure/certification: ARRT in Radiology or ARMRIT registry eligible; must be registered as MR Technologist within 1 year.
• Preferred certifications: ARRT in MRI.
• CPR/BLS: Active healthcare provider BLS on hire; must obtain BLS within 60 days.

Job Summary

This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

The MRI Tech performs complex diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. The MRI Tech produces high quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of MRI

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Associate degree in Allied Health or Bachelor’s Degree and certification in another clinical imaging field

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6 months in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with supervised clinical experience.Possesses working knowledge of cross section anatomy and MR pathology.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years in MRI

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology or (ARMRIT) registry eligible according to ACR guidelines. Must be registered as a MR Technologist within one year post graduation of accredited school. If Registered with ARRT in ionizing radiation, must possess current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: ARRT in MRI

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
