Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification or registry eligible within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Use radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Independently operate imaging equipment per protocol.
• Review images before transmission for diagnostic quality.
• Complete timely quality control procedures.
• Assist in departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapt communication to patient population and obtain required permissions.
• Perform other related duties as required.
