The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification or registry eligibility with a state license, BLS, and can work flexible hours including weekends or on-call shifts across facilities. Radiology information systems experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility within 90 days and temporary state license.
• Current unrestricted license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Verifies physician order and procedure for accuracy.
• Operates radiology equipment to complete imaging procedures per protocol.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality and conducts routine QC procedures.
• Assists in department operations and supports staff scheduling and maintenance.
