Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration or registry eligibility and state license within 90 days of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current unrestricted license in the state of practice.

Responsabilités

• Verify physician order and procedure for accuracy.
• Use radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Independently operate equipment to complete imaging procedures per protocol.
• Review images before transmission to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Perform timely quality control per regulatory standards.
• Assist in departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance).
• Adapt communication and procedure explanations to patient population and privacy considerations.
• Perform other related duties as required.
