Job summary

Wellstar is hiring Radiology staff to perform imaging exams across modalities, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and strict adherence to clinical protocols.

Applicants should have an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT(R) or ARMRIT where applicable, and BLS certification. The position reports to the modality manager and supports the Wellstar Health System in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• BLS certification required at hire (Instructor or BLS).
• MRI: ARRT (R) or ARMRIT for MRI, CNMT for Nuclear Medicine as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging exams per modality and department protocol.
• Ensure patient identification and safety; minimize exposure per ALARA.
• Provide patient care and support during procedures; adhere to Patient Family Centered care.
• Assist Radiologists with procedures and protocols as needed.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and hand washing policies.
• Other duties as assigned by modality manager.
