Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an Imaging professional to join our Radiology team in Georgia. You will operate imaging equipment, perform exams across modalities, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT Radiography certification, and BLS/ARC-BLS. A strong commitment to patient care and teamwork is required, with opportunities for career growth within Wellstar Health System.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• ARRT Radiography certification required upon hire.
• BLS or ARC-BLS Basic Life Support certification required.
• MRI/CT/Nuclear medicine: ARRT(R) or ARMRIT; CNMT or ARRT(N) may be required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of imaging modalities and adheres to department protocols.
• Performs imaging exams across modalities.
• Evaluates image quality and ensures proper patient identification.
• Ensures patient safety and aseptic technique at all times.
• Assists Radiologists with procedures and protocols.
• Follows Wellstar Health System policies and standards.
