Job summary

Wellstar seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures across ages under a Radiologist or Manager. You will ensure image quality, ALARA exposure, patient safety and compassionate care.

You’ll work within Wellstar Health System to support diagnostic imaging operations and maintain high standards of patient-centered care. The role requires ARRT Radiography, Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion, and BLS certification, with a focus on excellent patient service and

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Diagnostic Imaging exams while applying ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Evaluate images for technical quality and complete post-processing with correct patient identification.
• Provide patient-centered care and uphold Patient Family Centered care principles.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and adherent to aseptic technique.
• Adhere to Wellstar Health System policies and perform additional duties as assigned.
