Required credentials include Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion and ARRT-R, with Basic Life Support. Excellent communication and patient service are essential to support Wellstar’s mission in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate Diagnostic Imaging equipment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and written.
• Possess excellent patient/customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams in a variety of settings and evaluates image quality.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Applies ALARA principles to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Ensures proper patient identification and conducts post-processing of data.
• Upholds patient safety and aseptic technique; performs other duties as assigned.
