Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or AMA-accepted radiologic tech program completed.
• ARRT certification and Texas Medical Board license required; BLS certification required by start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review orders for accuracy and select appropriate diagnostic exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain history pertinent to the exam.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Maintain QC and radiation safety standards in ALARA compliance.
