Qualifications

• Associate's degree or AMA-approved education in radiologic sciences.
• ARRT certification and Texas Medical Board licensure as Medical Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS certification must be current by first day of employment.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders for accuracy and discuss with radiologists when needed.
• Interview patient, obtain medical history, explain procedures and obtain consent.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation in electronic health records.
• Perform diagnostic exams adhering to ALARA and safety guidelines.
• Maintain QC and radiation safety compliance; assist with equipment and workflow.
