Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to work with physicians, ensure protocol accuracy, and manage patient safety throughout exams.

Required ARRT-CT and Texas licensure, plus BLS certification; duties include QA, documentation, and coordination with radiology staff to maintain efficient, high-quality imaging services.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or AMA-approved graduate.
• Licensed by Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist on hire.
• ARRT-CT certification on hire and BLS from AHA/ARC by first day.

Responsibilities

• Review orders for accuracy and select CT protocols.
• Screen patients and obtain history; explain procedures to patients.
• Perform QC testing and report CT system issues to biomed/physicist.
• Maintain QA compliance with ACR requirements and ALARA principles.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, and safety adherence.
