UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT imaging to work with physicians on exam protocols, accreditation, and maintenance of CT equipment. The role requires ARRT-CT and Texas licensure upon hire, plus BLS certification.

You will review orders, screen patients, perform CT procedures, and ensure ALARA-compliant practices while coordinating with radiology staff and departments to maintain efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate's Degree or AMA-approved education in Radiologic Sciences.
• License requirements include ARRT-CT and Texas Medical Board licensure on hire.
• Basic life support certification required by first day of employment.

Responsabilités

• Review orders for accuracy, select CT protocol, screen for allergies and contraindications.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent, ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Perform CT exams and ensure radiation safety per ALARA standards.
• Conduct QC testing and report issues to biomed/physicist and leadership.
• Coordinate with nursing/anesthesia and scheduling to maintain workflow.
