Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures across patient age groups, under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager. The role emphasizes ALARA principles, safety, and adherence to department protocols.

The candidate will ensure high-quality images, proper patient identification, and post-processing accuracy while delivering compassionate patient care in a Wellstar facility.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required at hire.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at hire.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging while following department protocol and ALARA principles.
• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams across settings and evaluates image quality.
• Ensures proper patient identification and completed post-processing data.
• Adheres to patient safety and responds to emergencies as needed.
• Maintains aseptic technique and proper hand hygiene.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct.
