Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures across all ages, under the direction of a Radiologist or Manager. The role emphasizes patient safety, image quality, and ALARA principles to minimize exposure.

Core duties include operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient identification, and collaborating with radiologists to support accurate diagnoses. Day shift opportunities are available within Wellstar Health System in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate Diagnostic Imaging equipment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and written.
• Possess excellent patient/customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging and ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs Diagnostic Imaging exams and evaluates image quality with proper patient identification.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and safety policies; assists Radiologist with procedures.
