Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiologic procedures for patients of all ages under the direction of a Radiologist. The role emphasizes accurate results, patient comfort, and adherence to safety standards.

The candidate will maintain image quality, operate imaging equipment, and participate in workflow optimization across HIS Radiant and PACS systems, while mentoring staff and ensuring compliance with QA/QC programs.

Qualifications

• Certified radiologic technologist with ARRT registration in Radiography
• BLS certification within 30 days
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (IEMA) or equivalent where required
• Completion of Radiologic Technology program or degree

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately under Radiologist supervision
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging
• Maintain equipment and image quality; troubleshoot as needed
• Document patient data and imaging results in HIS/Radiant and PACS
• Mentor and train technologists and students
• Support QA/QC and department workflow
