Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging for patients of all ages under Radiologist supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and patient comfort during procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA).
• Certificate of Completion in Radiologic Technology.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Related work experience in medical imaging.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately and safely.
• Guides staff on views, filters, collimation and patient IDs for quality imaging.
• Maintains radiation protection practices and proper patient positioning.
• Ensures efficient patient care and clean, well-stocked work area.
• Serves as a resource and troubleshoots equipment as needed.
• Documents procedures and lab results as appropriate.
• Performs QA/QC and participates in process improvements.
