Qualifications

• Certified in Radiography by ARRT
• BLS certification within 30 days per AHA
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist – Illinois IEMA
• Certificate of Completion: Radiologic Technology
• Associate’s Degree: Radiologic Technology
• Related field work experience

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately within guidelines, policies, and standards.
• Acts as resource for staff during radiographic procedures.
• Selects views and uses filters, collimation, and markers to optimize image quality.
• Ensures patient comfort and applies radiation protection measures.
• Maintains equipment knowledge and serves as troubleshooting resource.
• Prepares images and paperwork for timely reporting.
• Manages patient flow and data entry into HIS/Radiant and PACS.
