Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiologic procedures across patient ages under Radiologist direction. You will ensure image quality, patient comfort, and radiation safety, while supporting equipment maintenance and staff training.

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered radiography certification required.
• BLS certification within 30 days required.
• IEMA Radiography licensure in Illinois preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures accurately within department standards.
• Ensures patient comfort and safety, using shielding and proper positioning.
• Maintains equipment reliability and room cleanliness; assists with troubleshooting.
• Entrains in QA/QC efforts and per department protocol.
• Supports training of fellow technologists and students.
• Ensures timely image processing and accurate patient data entry.
• Contributes to teamwork and interdepartmental collaboration.
