Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• English communication skills mandatory (verbal and written).
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, staff, and patients.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification (AHA).
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CA DPH).
• ARRT current certification.
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City); required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures per protocol, considering patient age.
• Review radiographs for positioning, technique, and identification.
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiographic equipment and proper use.
• Ensure correct patient identification and exam protocol.
• Provide radiation protection to patients and staff.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and assist with supplies.
• Participate in after-hours standby and callbacks.
• Mentor students and junior technologists.
• Communicate concerns through proper channels.
