Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained.
• 1 year as a Radiology Technologist.
• Previous acute hospital experience desired.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read and write English proficiently.
• Comfortable with computers and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures according to department procedures.
• Review radiographs for proper positioning, technique, and identification.
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiographic equipment and proper markings.
• Adjust technical factors based on patient age and body part while minimizing radiation.
• Process digital images and ensure proper identification.
• Confirm patient identity and adhere to exam protocols.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and assist with supplies.
