Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Ability to prioritize multiple high-priority tasks.
• Must have excellent communication skills, including speaking, reading and writing English.
• Comfort with computers and medical terminology.
• Technical skills to operate radiography equipment and computers.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures according to department protocol.
• Reviews radiographs for proper positioning, technique and identification.
• Maintains working knowledge of radiographic equipment and room readiness.
• Ensures proper exam protocol and patient identification.
• Maintains patient safety and radiation protection as required.
• Performs other related duties such as scheduling exams and transporting patients.
