Qualifications

• Must graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• 1 year as a Radiology Technologist.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Comfortable with computers and medical terminology.
• Ability to prioritize multiple high-priority tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures per department protocol.
• Reviews radiographs for positioning, technique, and identification.
• Demonstrates knowledge of radiographic equipment across areas.
• Maintains proper patient positioning and safety markers.
• Adjusts technical factors by patient age and body part while minimizing radiation.
• Processes digital images and ensures proper identification and filing.
• Confirms patient identity and verifies orders before exams.
• Recognizes emergencies and assists as needed.
• Maintains exam rooms and stocks supplies; supports scheduling and file duties.
• Participates in after-hours standby and callback as required.
