Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist II to perform diagnostic imaging exams with ARRT competency and state licensure. You will ensure patient safety, verify orders, and produce high‑quality images in a fast‑paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years radiology experience, BLS certification, and IV certification as preferred. Shift differentials apply for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification and state licensure required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• 1–2 years radiology experience preferred.
• IV Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
• Assists and instructs students and other Radiology Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
