Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to perform diagnostic imaging exams with high-quality results. You will work with radiologists and clinicians in a fast-paced setting, ensuring patient comfort and safety while maintaining imaging standards.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, applying contrast protocols, and training staff; the role requires ARRT(R), state licensure, and BLS, with a possible MA competency component in some sites.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist credential and ARRT (R) certification required.
• Active radiologic technologist license in the practicing state.
• BLS for healthcare providers is required.
• May be required to complete MA competency checklist and function as MA in some sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency in clinical/technical tasks.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams per protocol;review images for quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and keep a safe workspace.
• Complete studies timely while maintaining patient care and education.
• Instruct students and other techs in protocols and equipment.
• Document patient information, procedures, and any adverse reactions.
• Adhere to coding, charging, consents, QC, and equipment failure reporting.
