Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to perform diagnostic imaging exams in a Denver-based setting. You will collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure high-quality images and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS, with potential for shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. This is a full-time, on-site position with standard 36-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification and state license required or in process.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist for clinic or InstaCare settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Prepares patient, verifies order, and ensures proper patient identification.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies timely and assists students/colleagues with protocols and equipment.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort and addressing concerns.
• Follows infection control and sterile techniques; operates imaging equipment and systems.
• Keeps accurate records of procedures and handles coding/charging per protocol.
