Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist II to perform diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will work with radiologists and clinicians to deliver high-quality images and patient care in a busy Denver-area setting.

The role requires ARRT(R) certification, state licensure, and BLS. Experience in fluoroscopy, mobile imaging, and IV protocols is preferred. Shift differentials apply for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist with ARRT(R) certification and state licensure.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• May need MA competency checklist for clinic/InstaCare settings.
• 1–2 years radiology experience preferred.
• IV certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality competency across clinical tasks.
• Verify patient identity and exam orders, prepare patients.
• Perform exams per protocol; review images for quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete studies in a timely manner; assist/train students and other staff.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort and address concerns.
• Adhere to infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate imaging equipment and related information systems.
• Keep accurate records of procedures and patient data.
• Follow QC, coding, charging, and reporting protocols.
